When MCP Marketing took over Ormonde Leisure’s social media in April 2024, the brand’s online presence was inconsistent, visually mismatched, and lacked a clear strategy. Posts were infrequent, branding was absent, and content failed to showcase the breadth of the club’s facilities or engage with its members effectively.

The Challenge

Our task was to completely revamp the Instagram and Facebook pages, creating a strong, cohesive brand identity and a structured posting schedule that promoted the facilities, built engagement, and attracted new members, all with a minimal marketing budget.

We developed content pillars to ensure variety, consistency, and engagement:

  • Monday Motivation – Inspiring fitness quotes to kickstart the week
  • Tuesday Timetable – Highlighting the week’s fitness classes
  • Wednesday Workout – Demonstrating exercises and techniques
  • Thursday Nutrition – Sharing healthy eating tips and meal inspiration
  • Flex Friday – Video-led strength training exercises
  • Saturday Swimming – Showcasing the pool, jacuzzi, and spa areas
  • Sunday Membership – Promoting various membership packages

 

Additional initiatives included:

  • Meet the Team – Introducing staff to create personal connections
  • Fitness Education – “How-to” videos for using equipment and perfecting techniques
  • Challenges & Campaigns – 25 Day Fitness Countdown to Christmas and Weekly Workout Challenges
  • Facility Highlights – Videos and photos of the gym, pool, classes, and spa
  • Seasonal Campaigns – Gift voucher promotions linked with Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel packages
